Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and his accompanying high-level delegation departed Beirut, returning to Cairo following an official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation. He was seen off at Rafik Hariri International Airport by Lebanese Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam.
During the visit, Dr. Madbouly held bilateral talks with the Lebanese prime minister at the Grand Serail (Government Palace). The two sides also co-chaired an expanded meeting attended by the delegations of both countries.
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun received Prime Minister Madbouly at Baabda Palace, where discussions focused on ways to support and enhance bilateral relations. The prime minister also met with Speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri at the Parliament building, where they reviewed avenues for strengthening cooperation across various sectors.
In addition, Dr. Madbouly attended an economic working meeting at the headquarters of the Beirut Chamber of Commerce and Industry, with the participation of a large number of private sector representatives and business leaders. During the meeting, he addressed questions raised by Lebanese investors.
