Abu Dhabi Crown Prince meets Kyoto Prefecture Governor

His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, today met with His Excellency Takatoshi Nishiwaki, Governor of Kyoto Prefecture, on the sidelines of His Highness’s visit to Japan to attend the UAE Pavilion’s celebration of UAE Day at Expo 2025 Osaka. During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and exchange expertise in the fields of innovation, infrastructure, sustainable environmental solutions, and other sectors of shared strategic priority, which will contribute to supporting the sustainable development process.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court; His Excellency Mohammed Ali Al Shorafa, Chairman of the Department of Municipalities and Transport; His Excellency Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary-General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Head of the Crown Prince’s Office at the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court; Her Excellency Maryam Eid Al Mheiri, Head of the Abu Dhabi Media Office and Strategic Relations Advisor at the Crown Prince’s Court; and His Excellency Shehab Ahmed Al Fahim, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UAE to Japan and Commissioner-General of the UAE Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka.
