The Egyptian Ministry of Interior has held its annual police equipment exhibition at the Police Academy headquarters, highlighting its operational capabilities and the latest technological advancements in security work.

The event was attended by senior security officials, public figures, media representatives, university and school students, Al-Azhar scholars, church delegations, and young people with disabilities, underscoring the strong connection between state institutions and society. The exhibition featured a wide range of modern vehicles and equipment used by various sectors of the Ministry of Interior, with a particular focus on newly commissioned vehicles equipped with advanced technologies that enhance rapid response and meet the demands of modern security operations.

Among the highlights were smart civil registry vehicles operated by the Civil Status Sector, which enable citizens to receive services and obtain official documents within minutes, easing pressure on service centers and improving accessibility. Mobile traffic licensing units were also on display, along with modern traffic motorcycles designed to strengthen traffic enforcement, regulate streets, improve traffic flow, and reduce congestion on major roads. The exhibition included advanced emergency response vehicles developed to support swift field deployment and immediate handling of citizens’ reports.

Upgraded fire trucks fitted with hydraulic ladders for high-rise firefighting were showcased, alongside modern firefighting units that rely on advanced technologies, including drones. Also featured were state-of-the-art river rescue units designed to save individuals who fall into waterways, as well as specialized equipment for responding to building collapses and rescuing people trapped under debris as quickly as possible. Special forces equipment attracted wide attention, particularly advanced armored vehicles such as the Kobri armored vehicle.

Security robots were also displayed, including a robotic dog capable of operating in rugged and high-risk areas, in addition to camera-equipped systems used for high-precision surveillance of criminal hotspots during security operations. The Ministry highlighted its efforts to combat drug abuse through awareness brochures outlining the scale of seizures and initiatives aimed at protecting young people. Products made by inmates of rehabilitation centers, including furniture, meat, fruits, and other goods, were also displayed as part of the Ministry’s rehabilitation and social reintegration strategy.

In a humanitarian gesture, the Ministry of Interior’s Aman system distributed gifts and toys to children in a festive atmosphere. The exhibition also featured artistic performances, equestrian shows, and police dog demonstrations, which drew positive reactions from attendees.

Families of police martyrs attended the event and expressed their pride in their sons’ sacrifices. They thanked President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his directives to organize visits for martyrs’ children to the Police Academy. The exhibition coincided with the Ministry of Interior’s celebrations of the 74th Police Day, marking the anniversary of the Battle of Ismailia on January 25, 1952, when Egyptian police officers demonstrated exceptional heroism and self-sacrifice.
