His Excellency Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office, Chairman of the Emirates Media Council, and Chairman of Bridge, met with Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, Tesla, and Starlink, at Tesla’s headquarters in Palo Alto, California, USA, to discuss the future of technology and media and opportunities for cooperation through the Bridge Summit.
During the meeting, His Excellency extended an invitation to Elon Musk to participate in the inaugural Bridge Summit, the largest event in the media, content, and entertainment industry worldwide, organized by the UAE in Abu Dhabi from 8 to 10 December.
This meeting comes within the framework of Bridge’s strategy to build qualitative partnerships with technology leaders and pioneers and global innovation centers, and to expand cooperation between the media industry and advanced technology, to shape a smarter, more diverse, and more inclusive future for global content.

Musk commended the significant efforts of His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the UAE Council for Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Technology, noting his continued commitment to forging strategic partnerships and investments that strengthen the country’s position as a global hub for advanced technology. During a tour of the Optimus Robotics Lab, Musk accompanied His Excellency Abdullah Al Hamed, where he witnessed live demonstrations of the robots’ capabilities in motion simulation and intelligent interaction. He also listened to a detailed explanation of plans to develop them into a part of the system of future solutions in the industrial and services sectors. The meeting also reviewed the importance of balancing the speed of innovation with establishing regulatory frameworks that ensure they do not deviate from ethical values.
