As part of the Year of Guarania, the educational concert “Guarania for a New Generation” was held, bringing together more than 1,400 students from the Third Cycle and Secondary Level of schools in J. Augusto Saldivar and Guarambare.

The event was organised by the Ministry of Education and Sciences and the National Orchestra of Popular Music, with support from the Municipal Council, the Municipal School of Dance and the local Directorate of Culture.

Through live performances, educational explanations and direct interaction with young audiences, the concert aimed to convey the historical and emotional value of Guarania, Paraguay’s most representative musical genre.

Authorities highlighted that the initiative not only promoted cultural learning, but also encouraged national pride and intergenerational connection, strengthening Paraguayan identity through music, according to BRICSLat, a partner of TV BRICS.

The event was attended by representatives of the education sector, municipal authorities and musicians dedicated to artistic education, who praised the enthusiasm shown by the students towards this cultural initiative.
