Shiraz Shakira, Head of Education at UNICEF, stated that they are confident the education system is on a very positive trajectory in Egypt. She described this as a unique moment in Egypt, where reforms are receiving strong support from school principals and teachers.
She added that student attendance in schools across Egypt has risen from 15% to 87%, a significant achievement.
