Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, the Abu Dhabi Amiri Equestrian Arts School will open in November on Jubail Island in Abu Dhabi. Covering an area of 65,000 square meters, the school offers integrated facilities dedicated to classical equestrian arts in an environment that reflects the rich heritage of Arabian equestrianism. Its facilities have been carefully designed to ensure the highest levels of comfort for horses, adopting precise international standards in care and training. This provides a suitable environment for riders and horses, enabling them to practice their activities in a sporting environment that meets their various needs and requirements.
The Abu Dhabi Amiri Equestrian Arts School includes an air-conditioned performance hall with a capacity of 1,200 people. The school also features 60 air-conditioned stables equipped with advanced monitoring technologies, a veterinary care and rehabilitation clinic, training arenas, and shaded paths for horses and athletes. The Abu Dhabi Equestrian Arts Centre provides cultural, educational, and craft spaces dedicated to preserving equestrian knowledge and ensuring its transmission to future generations. The school’s Equestrian Exhibition showcases a selection of rare artifacts documenting the history of equestrianism across the centuries and across various civilizations.
The school also houses a library, one of the largest in the world, containing more than 10,000 books. It also houses the House of Crafts, the UAE’s first equestrian saddlery center, which aims to revive and develop this traditional craft. The Abu Dhabi School of Equestrian Arts offers a range of basic education programs, ranging from the Junior Riders Academy to the four-year Equestrian Program.
These programs offer educational paths for different age groups and provide the opportunity for budding riders, including children with disabilities, to engage in an integrated learning environment. Each program contributes to preparing a new generation of riders, based on a methodology based on the values and principles of discipline, perseverance, and professionalism.
