The spectacular light show from the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) has been much of a talking point this year. It’s no surprise seeing the phenomenon is on many people’s bucket lists! So, how about spending two magnificent weeks in Norway chasing the Northern Lights onboard an Ambassador cruise? Sailing from London Cruise Terminal, you’ll begin your search on Norway’s west coast in the port town of Alesund, famed for its Art Nouveau architecture before heading off to Tromso where an Arctic adventure awaits.

There’s an overnight stay in Alta, Norway’s northernmost town, rich in history and culture, before heading to Narvik at the head of the Ofotifjorden. Bodo and Bergen are also on the ports of call during the delightful 14-night cruise. Speakers and acts are also onboard the cruise including Dr John Robson, who will be speaking about his experience in forensic science and Stephen Garcia, magician and comedian.

The ship, Ambience, provides the spaciousness and freedom you would expect, along with plentiful dining options and cabins as well as swimming pool, palladium, gym and wellness centre. The Norway’s Land of the Northern Lights Cruise departs on February 23, 2025, on Ambience, from London Cruise Terminal.
