Egypt’s Foreign Minister Heads to Angola for Joint Committee Meeting

Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty travelled to Luanda on Thursday for the meeting of the Egyptian-Angolan joint committee aimed at strengthening cooperation and advancing the strategic partnership between the two countries. Abdelatty is scheduled to hold a series of bilateral meetings with senior Angolan officials on the sidelines of the committee’s session to discuss ways to expand cooperation in economic, investment and development fields.

Talks will also cover regional and international issues of mutual concern and coordination of positions on several files. The discussions aim to bolster the two countries’ roles in supporting security, stability and development in Africa and in international forums.
