The National Elections Authority (NEA) announced the launch of the runoff round of the second phase of the House of Representatives election for Egyptians abroad. The runoff covers 55 constituencies in 18 governorates with candidates vying for 101 seats.
NEA’s Executive Director Ahmed Bendari said voting began with Egypt’s diplomatic mission in New Zealand and will continue for two days for Egyptian nationals abroad, followed by voting inside Egypt on Wednesday and Thursday. Bendari urged voters to participate actively, stressing that voters’ choices are significant.
