Cairo: Silta – News Desk
URD Real Estate Development celebrated the launch of its latest coastal project, Ladera Red Sea, spanning 114 acres in Ras Sudr, with direct waterfront views overlooking the Red Sea. The project features a distinctive architectural design that positions it as one of Egypt’s most prominent new coastal destinations.
Mohamed Hafez Al-Zaabalawy, Chairman of URD Real Estate Development, stated that the launch of Ladera Red Sea comes at a time when the Red Sea coast is experiencing robust urban and tourism development, making it one of the most attractive destinations for clients over the past two years. This is attributed to the diversity of projects in the region and their high investment viability, a value that further increased following the Ras Sudr development deal.
He pointed out that Ras Sudr has become one of the most promising coastal cities today, thanks to its proximity to Cairo and the significant development of road networks and infrastructure. This has positioned it as the next growth destination following Ain Sokhna and the Red Sea, with increasing client interest for both seasonal residential and long-term investment purposes.
Al-Zaabalawy elaborated that Ladera Red Sea is based on an innovative development vision aimed at maximizing the benefits of the waterfront through a design that ensures direct sea views from all units, while providing high-quality tourism and residential products that meet the expectations of clients seeking privacy, tranquility, and investment value.
He continued: “Ladera Red Sea represents a strong addition to URD’s expansion portfolio and reflects the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality projects with distinctive architectural thinking that emphasizes sustainability and enhances investment value for coastal developments. This is the approach URD adopts across its projects to meet the requirements of both current and prospective clients.”
Mustafa Al-Zaabalawy, CEO of URD Real Estate Development, added that the increasing demand for Red Sea projects in the coming period will position Ras Sudr as an important growth hub, especially with the entry of new client segments seeking destinations close to Cairo at competitive prices. This strengthens the project’s success prospects and makes it a key element in URD’s expansion strategy.
He noted that the master plan was executed in collaboration with Azure Planning & Architecture, led by Engineer Omar Aqeel and Engineer Islam Nabil, whose distinctive expertise shaped the comprehensive master plan. The design is based on an integrated vision ensuring optimal utilization of waterfront views and natural elevation.
Al-Zaabalawy highlighted that the project’s architectural design is built on a terraced concept that guarantees direct panoramic sea views from all units, with precise utilization of natural elevations to enhance privacy and visual appeal.
The project includes a varied mix of units comprising hotel units, studios, chalets, cabins, and villas with direct sea and lagoon views. The project also offers a distinctive beach area named “La Vera Beach,” providing residents and visitors with a comprehensive relaxation and entertainment experience. Project delivery is scheduled to begin within four years.
The project launch was marked by a grand celebration befitting the scope of this new development, featuring renowned artists Ramy Sabry and Ruby, along with numerous celebrities and public figures in attendance.
