President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Viktor Orban, Prime Minister of Hungary, who is currently on a working visit to the UAE, discussed bilateral cooperation and opportunities to enhance them across various sectors, particularly in the economy, investment, development, renewable energy, technology, and culture, among other vital areas that serve the development priorities of both countries and benefit their peoples.
During the meeting, both sides affirmed their shared commitment to continue working to expand cooperation between the two countries to achieve their mutual interests. They also highlighted the continuous development witnessed by UAE-Hungary relations, as the two countries celebrate this year the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. This is based on their shared vision to build an effective partnership that contributes to achieving their development goals and opening new horizons for sustainable growth.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and the Hungarian Prime Minister also reviewed a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on them, affirming their support for all efforts aimed at consolidating the foundations of stability and peace at the regional and global levels.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, and a number of senior state officials.
